What should I bring with me?
Do you provide bed linen and towels?
We provide all bed linen but ask that you bring towels.
I am new to sailing. Is this holiday suitable for me?
No previous sailing experience is necessary to enjoy a holiday on Inachos. She is an ideal vessel to learn the ropes under the care of your skipper or you can just sit back and take in the views and the sun. The beauty of booking with Sail Away Holidays is that the choice is yours.
What is the payment procedure?
A deposit of 30% of the total price of the holiday is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable not later than 6 weeks before the start date of the holiday.

You can obtain fresh food for lunch and breakfast daily from local shops and evening meals are usually taken at local Tavernas and we will recommend our favourites.
Are the any preorganised events?
No. We don’t pre-organise events.
Can I charge my mobile, camera, laptop?
Yes. All electrical goods that can be charged using a 12v car adapter can be charged when we are running under engine which we normally do every day for short periods. When we obtain shore power usual 240v charging with a standard 3 pin plug is accessible on board or in Tavernas.
Is there snorkeling equipment on board?
We have several sets of snorkels, masks and fins on board which you are welcome to use.
Where are the cash machines?
Cash machines are readily available and can be found in most of the ports and harbours we visit.
When we leave the boat, how secure are my personal belongings?
We always lock the yacht and make it as secure as possible when we are away from it.
Where can we sail to?
A one week sailing holiday will allow us to visit up to five different islands and we can be flexible about the route we take. A two week holiday will allow us to travel further and this can include the historical island of Corfu
What happens if I need medical assistance?
Medical assistance will never be far away. All the islands we visit have medical facilities with a hospital on the islands of both Lefkas and Kefalonia.
Can we drink the water from the yacht's water tanks?
We carry over 500 litres of water on board and it is perfectly drinkable. However, we have a large fridge and most prefer to buy bottled water and drink it chilled.
How do I get from the airport to the yacht?
From the airport a friendly taxi driver will be there to whisk you to the yacht and will be available again to return you at the end of your holiday.
What happens if our flight arrives late?
This will not cause a problem. Make contact with us when you land and we will advise the best course of action. If the plane is not overly delayed, it should simply be a case of transferring to the yacht as planned. If other guests are on board and your flight is extensively delayed we will meet you later at the designated first port of call which will be accessible by taxi.
Can we buy provisions around the islands?
Yes, provisions of all sorts (fresh fruit, bread, drinks etc.) are available at all the islands we visit.

These items can only be used when we have access to shore power and as we are often in bays and small harbours this facility is rarely available. We do not recommend bringing hairdryers.
Do the showers provide hot water?
Both showers on board have hot water and can provide hot showers for all on board. There are also very often shower facilities ashore.
What entertainment systems are on board?

We carry an extensive range of charts to cover the Ionian sea and beyond. We also have the pilot book written and compiled by Rod Heikell which makes for interesting reading.
