We base Inachos in the Ionians, not only because the lush green islands give an incredible background to one of the most beautiful sailing areas in the world, but with its predictable winds, small swell, flat calm at night and sheltered sailing it is perfect for the novice sailor to get a first taste of Island hopping on a yacht. The wind tends to blow from lunchtime to early evening, giving excellent sailing conditions, perfect for getting us to that day's destination. Not enough wind, Inachos has a powerful 64hp engine so we can cruise at seven knots in comfort.

The Ionian has many small islands with lots of coves and tiny harbours, the majority of Islands are less than two hours sailing time apart, providing an ever-changing panorama.

We begin your holiday in Lefkas a delightful small town, only 15mins taxi drive from the airport. With a beautiful harbour, it is from here that we will start your adventure. For contrast we sail to the islands of Meganisi, Kalamos and Kastos population in winter 15 rising to 55 in summer, absolute gems. Scorpios, the stunning private island owned by the Onassis family. Down to Ithaca the land of Homer and also some of the best snorkelling in the Mediterranean. Kefalonia the pearl of the Ionian, Fiskhardo the St Tropez of Greece, where the Armanis of this world holiday aboard their super yachts, a maze of little alleys where you can shop for designer clothing or just a simple olive wood bowl. Something for everyone and we will sit down with you before we sail off each day and tailor the itinerary to suit you.
